International Language and Exchange Program (ILEP)
With the cooperation of French Embassy, Lagos (Cooperation
and Cultural Section), PTPI Nigeria will pursue an International
Language and Exchange Program (ILEP).
French as a Second Language (FSL) is aimed at enhancing cross
cultural communication and international understanding between Nigerians
and their francophone counterparts.

History
Dwight D. Eisenhower , Founder
People To People roots started as US President, Dwight D. Eisenhower
realized that world peace and international collaboration could not
be accomplished by governments alone but by the “understanding and mutual
respect between individuals”.
He envisioned a world in which people saw first what they had in common, not what made them different. To support this vision, he created People To People organization on September 11, 1956 and was placed in the private sector in November 1961 as a NGO, not-for-profit to facilitate global interaction.

Since Eisenhower, Nine US Presidents have supported the vision of the global People to People International by serving as its Honorary Chairman. Presently, the Honorary Chairman of PTPI is President George W. Bush. The organization has reaped benefits from the talents of countless individuals who have supported the ideals set forth by President Eisenhower. Today, President Eisenhower’s granddaughter Mary Eisenhower serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of PTPI.
Eisenhower’s vision lives today in People To People Chapters Network and its programs. No matter where you venture within PTP programs, the result is clear: “People bridging political and cultural differences and bringing home a new sense of cooperation”.
PTPI has a presence in over 135 countries with more than 80,000 families and individuals actively participating in PTP programs all working towards President Eisenhower’s vision of peace through understanding. One of such chapter is People to People International - Nigeria.

People To People Nigeria, Jan 15TH 2004-Till Date
People to People International, Nigeria is totally committed to promote international understanding, education, citizens’ empowerment, community development, nation building and national rebirth with a clear vision of promoting peace through understanding and passion for delivery outstanding results. People to People International Lagos, Nigeria was officially chartered on January 15, 2004 by PTPI World Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri, USA to carry out PTP programs and activities in Nigeria.
NIGERIA BOARD MEMBERS
The organization’s operations are guided by a Charter from the PTPI World Headquarters. The final authority is vested in the Board of Directors. People to People Nigeria Board Of Directors are: DAPO V. ADESOLA , DAYO P. FALEYE, ENITAN O. ISIWELE, BIBIAN OGBECHE (MRS) , RAHMAN O. MOGAJI (Program Director) The day to day activities of the organization is implemented by the Program Director and his team with volunteers.
